Elevation 2026 – Ballet Performance

Dear Families,

We are excited to share the schedule for our Elevation End-of-Year Performance!

Date: Friday, June 12, 2026
Doors open at 6:30pm
Show Time: 7:00 PM
Venue: cSPACE Marda Loop
1721 29 Ave SW, Calgary, AB T2T 6T7

Arrival Time

2:00 PM – Dancers Arrive at the Theatre

Please note that parents will not be able to watch the rehearsals or sit in the audience during rehearsal time. We would like families to experience the performance for the first time during the show.

Pre-Dance parents may assist and supervise their dancers from the dressing room area only.

Rehearsal Schedule

2:15 PM – 3:15 PM
Spacing Rehearsal (Acts 1 & 2)

For Rehearsals:

* No boots
* No pants over tights
* No jewelry
* No makeup
* Pink ballet tights required
* Nude bodysuit required underneath costumes

3:15 PM – 3:30 PM
Snack Break

Please bring:

* Water bottle
* Healthy snacks

3:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Dress Rehearsal

Please arrive from home with your hair already done if possible.

Hair Requirements:

* Center part
* High ballet bun
* Hair net
* Hair spray and/or gel to keep hair neat and secure

Dinner, Makeup & Warm-Up

5:30 PM – 6:45 PM

This time will be used for:

* Dinner
* Makeup
* Warm-up

Makeup Requirements

All dancers must wear:

* Foundation
* Powder
* Blush
* Eyeliner
* Mascara
* Dark pink lipstick
* Filled-in eyebrows
* False eyelashes

Performance

6:45 PM
All dancers must be in full costume and performance-ready.

7:00 PM
Show Begins!

After the Performance

Before leaving, all dancers are responsible for cleaning and organizing their dressing room station, including:

* Throwing away their garbage
* Returning costumes to their hangers
* Returning all headpieces and accessories
* Leaving the dressing room clean and organized

A Note to Our Dancers

Remember that you are representing AA Classical Ballet School. We want to leave the best impression possible with the theatre staff and guests by showing excellent discipline, respect, and professionalism throughout the day.

If you need help at any time, please do not hesitate to ask Ms. Yairelys or Mr. Jaciel. We are here to support you and make sure you have a wonderful experience.

Most importantly, enjoy every moment. You have all worked incredibly hard throughout the year, and this performance is a celebration of your dedication, growth, and love of dance. Take in every moment, support one another, and make memories that will stay with you for years to come.
